Remote assistance

Download RustDesk for your device. Nobody can connect unless you share your ID and password, and connections are end-to-end encrypted.

Windows

Already set up. Nothing to configure.

Download for Windows
  1. Open the file. Don't rename it, because the name contains the settings.
  2. If Windows asks for permission, click Yes.
  3. Read out the ID and password shown on screen.

macOS

Apple menu → About This Mac: "Chip: Apple M…" means Apple Silicon.

Apple Silicon Intel
  1. Drag RustDesk into Applications and open it.
  2. Allow Screen Recording and Accessibility in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
  3. Set up the server (below), then read out your ID and password.

Android

Android phones and tablets.

Download for Android
  1. Install the file (you may need to allow installs from your browser).
  2. Set up the server (below).
  3. Tap Share screen and read out your ID and password.

Server settings

Needed only on macOS, Android, or if you installed RustDesk from somewhere else.

Quick way: import

Click Copy. In RustDesk, open Settings → Network, unlock the network settings, and choose Import server config.

Manual way

In Settings → Network → ID/Relay server, fill in the fields below and leave Relay and API empty.
